A Community that Cares
At Cancer Support Community North Texas (CSCNT) we’re on a mission to ensure that all people impacted by cancer are empowered by knowledge, strengthened by action, and sustained by community.
At CSCNT, you’ll find a community of licensed clinicians, nutrition experts, specialized exercise instructors, and many others dedicated to meet your needs and improving your well-being. Our free program of support, education and strength is available to anyone – adult or child – whose life has been impacted by cancer, including patients, survivors, caregivers, loved ones, and bereaved.
Programs for Your Body & Spirit
Living with cancer is both a physical and emotional challenge. Cancer Support Community North Texas offers a wide range of free programs and services designed to nurture your body and spirit:
Support Services – support and networking groups, short-term individual counseling, and bereavement workshops led by master’s level, licensed mental health professionals
Health & Wellness Workshops – gentle movement and exercise classes, stress management programs, and nutritional cooking workshops
Educational Presentations – experts in their fields presenting on the latest cancer information
Resources & Referrals – our bilingual (Spanish-English) Cancer Resource Specialist refers survivors to appropriate resources and facilitates access to these services
Social Connection – join others at CSCNT dinners, tea times, game nights, movie matinees and ice cream socials
Noogieland – our program of support specifically designed for kids and teens
Whether you’re in an educational presentation, a nutrition class, or one of our support or networking groups, our programs give you the opportunity to talk with people who understand what you’re going through, learn from others further along the cancer journey, and develop bonds that will sustain you.
Our North Texas Locations
We have three physical locations, in Dallas, Plano and north Fort Worth. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we have moved all our services to a virtual platform, making our programs accessible to anyone who needs it regardless of physical location.
